Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
- Open the HP Easy scan app
- Open the Presets drop-down menu, and then select a scan job.
- Change scan settings, such as orientation, color mode, resolution, and page size.
- Set Crop to to US letter
- Try scanning.
