I trying to scan picture from new LaserJet Pro MFP 4302 using flatbet as a source, but whatever I set up - I only get pictures with typical JPEG artefacts. Even via WEB Interface I can't find any option to turn off as on other HP printers (compression "NONE").

 

How can I turn off JPEG compression? Artefacts are not acceptable!

Disabling JPEG compression on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4302 might not be directly configurable through the HP Easy Scan or HP Smart software, especially if those options are not available in the web interface. However, there are a few alternative approaches you can try:

 

Use Different Scanning Software: Try using different scanning software that may offer more advanced settings for scanning, including the ability to disable compression. VueScan and Adobe Acrobat are examples of scanning software that often offer more control over scanning parameters.

Use TWAIN or WIA Drivers: Instead of using HP Easy Scan or HP Smart, try using the TWAIN or WIA drivers provided by HP for your scanner. Many third-party scanning applications support TWAIN or WIA drivers and may offer more options for adjusting scanning parameters.

Scan to File: Instead of scanning directly to an application, scan to a file on your computer using the scanner's control panel. This might bypass any compression applied by the scanning software.
