Hi @joburns67,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To enlarge a photo to 5" x 7" on your MacBook Air with MacOS Sonoma 14.4 and print it using your HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps.
Resize the Photo:
Open the Photo:
- Use Preview (the default photo viewer and editor on Mac) or a photo editing application like Photoshop or GIMP.
Resize the Photo in Preview:
- Open the photo in Preview.
- Go to Tools > Adjust Size.
- Set the width and height to 5 inches and 7 inches respectively. Make sure the resolution is set appropriately (usually 300 dpi for high quality).
- Click OK to resize the photo.
Print the Photo:
Open the Photo for Printing:
- After resizing, you can use Preview to print the photo.
Print Using Preview:
- In Preview, go to File > Print.
- In the print dialog, select Paper Size and choose a custom size if 5" x 7" isn’t listed. You might need to set this in Page Setup.
- Ensure that the Scale is set to 100% or Actual Size to maintain the dimensions you set.
Select Printer:
- Ensure your HP ENVY 6020e is selected as the printer.
Check Printer Settings:
- Click on Show Details in the print dialog to access advanced printer settings.
- Confirm that the paper size and orientation are set correctly for a 5" x 7" print.
Print:
- Click Print to start printing.
By following these steps, you should be able to enlarge and print your photo in the desired 5" x 7" size.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
