Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

LaserJet M1212nf MFP won't make a full page copy of a legal-size document. It cuts off at letter-size, while printing onto a legal sheet. I cannot find a place to change the setting.

I just got it. The document feeder and paper input tray  are correct. The paper size setup can be found as follow: Go to the control panel and push the "setup buttton" to open the menus. Then, use the "Left and Right Arrow" button to find "System setup" and push the OK button. Next, use again the "Left and Right Arrow" button to find "Paper setup" and push the OK button. This will take you to "Def. paper size," and you will need to push the OK button so that you can see the A4 paper size. Use the "Left and Right Arrow" button to see the different paper sizes and select the one that you need by pushing the OK button. Hope this help.

Do you have the paper tray size set to legal through the control panel of the printer? If not it will assume that it only has letter size paper as default. You also cannot leave the tray size set as ANY SIZE.

Thanks, but here's my situation:

I have loaded legal paper in the paper tray. I use the document feeder to load the original legal-sized document I want to copy.

The 'control panel' on my printer does not display an option to change paper sizes. I assume that option must be 'hiding' behind some other options, but if it is, I cannot find it.

The HP website is of no use whatsoever so this is my last hope. Thanks for spending time and offering the suggestion, and I hope you or someone can teach this old dog a new trick.
