I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e, and I'm trying to figure out how to include a (big) thumbnail of the first page in the fax confirmation reports. Does anyone know how to enable this feature? Thanks!

Hi @iJohnnyCash,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

  1. Adjust Printer Settings: On your printer, tap Settings, navigate to Fax Settings, then Fax Reports, and select Fax Confirmation. Make sure to choose the option to include the first page thumbnail, and save the settings.
  2. Use HP Smart or Embedded Web Server (EWS): If you can’t find the setting on the printer screen, access the Embedded Web Server by finding your printer’s IP address (print a Network Configuration Report from Settings → Reports). Enter the IP address in your web browser (like http://192.168.1.100) and head to Fax Settings, then Fax Reports. Enable Fax Confirmation Page with Image and save your changes.
  3. Check HP Smart App (Optional): Open the HP Smart App on your computer, go to Fax Settings, then Fax Reports. See if there's an option to include a first-page preview.
  4. Update Firmware (If Option is Missing): Make sure your printer firmware is up to date by going to Settings → Printer Updates → Check for Updates on the printer control panel.

@Kuroi_Kenshi

Dear,

I check your suggestions. Through the Device Screen, Intranet Panel as well as HP Smart App.
In the first two options I only see a generic Fax Confirmation option which of course is enable. In the HP Smart App, I see only options related to printer.

Of course, I have the latest firmware version.

I attach you a few screenshots
