How to open the b110 lid?

i want to scan a book. It is easier to scan with the lid off. But how do I remove the lid??

The manual says "remove the lid...", but does not explain how to pull or unscew.
I do not want te use force or break the lid.

Apparently you did not receive the data in the way I gave you, as you described.
