Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer

My cat sat on the open document feeder and apparently snapped it off the unit, and I can't figure out how to get it back on correctly. I assume the little round notches on each side of the feeder should go on the pegs, but that's not working for me, and I don't want to force anything. It looks like one of the notches got a little messed up, and possibly one of the pegs -- I can't really tell.

The first two photos are of the damaged notch, and then the peg it would match up with. Second row shows undamaged peg.

I hope someone can tell me how to fix this! Do I need to buy a new ADF attachment? Or...? Thanks so much...

You need to bend the ADF tray in the middle to shorten the distance between notches, and then put it in the feeder. After you release the bent notches and pegs will settle.

Thanks so much! That's what I was trying to do at first but worried it would break. Your reply gave me the reassurance I needed.
