How to reduce size of copy on envy 6132e - this is doing my head in - print comes out ‘idiot’ size and can’t reduce size. HELP!

Answer - Short Version

The HP Smart (Mobile) application (at this writing) lacks a true "print to scale" option.

Image prints tend to follow the size of the paper.

For example, If you are using 4x6 inch paper, your printed content will be sized to 4x6 inches.

Scan the content and save it to an appropriate file type (document / image) on your device.

Check in your App Store for an application that includes the option to print the content in the scale / size you want.

Answer - Explanations / Context

The printer lacks a full service touchscreen printer control panel.

COPY as initiated from the printer is perhaps limited to the buttons and settings as described in the user manual.

Operating System = iOS

Copy is available using the device Camera or using Scan as described in the user manual.

HP Smart (Mobile app) Scan includes some simple Edit options and supports scanned content to be saved, printed, shared.

After the content is saved as an appropriate file type for the content, the file can then be printed.

Operating System iPadOS includes a manual resize option -- not ideal for accuracy though the option is fine for "sort of this size" options.
