When I make a scan image (photo on flat bed) and I want to save it, HP Smart app offers to save as only jpg or Basic PDF. HP Smart Tank 7602 Manual says: "Scan file format JPG; PDF; PNG; TIFF". How can I save my image file as a PNG or a TIF?

Install yourself HP easy printer setup scanning and printing software that will give you advanced features of your device, HP Smart is pretty limited.

Valsimot's reply was helpfull. The Model-specific app, HP Smart Tank 7600 Series can be used to save photo images in six format, not just in two.
Installation was a bit wonky. The download contained installers for several modules, but installation got hung up during the installation process. I opened Windows Task Manager and stopped the process for modules except for the HP Smart Tank 7600 Series specific app. The app was openable, and also the Fax module/app was installed despite the hangup.
