I just need advice as to how I can scan a word document son that I can edit it. I generated it initially but inadvertently deleted it. Thanks.

Which printer model are you using?

 

Typically, you download the FULL featured software and then use the HP Scan with "Save as Editable Text" shortcut.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:

Remeber to choose the HP ENVY Photo 6200 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.  Follow the example above to Save as Editable text.
