Product: HP Color Laser MFP 178nw
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

How to scan at more than 300 dpi with my new Color Laser MFP 178nw? The printer specification online is  600x600.  How do I change the setting?  My source is now Flatbed but there is no option to increase beyond 300 dpi.  I tried HP Easy Scan and HP Smart.  Both not working for me. Please kindly advise.

I see that you want to scan in high resolution.
 

Please do not select scan to pdf option. Instead, Scan as an image.
