How to scan both sides of paper

Hello,

I just bought the HP OfficeJet 3835, I thought it prints and copy's on both sides automatically but this does not seem to be the case. 

Can someone tell me how to copy both sides of the paper using the feeder tray, even if it is manually please?

This resource shows you how to scan for your printer:

HP Officejet Pro 6960 / 6961 /6968 / 6966 : Scan a 6 pages 2 sided document using the ADF

(different printer but the OfficejetPro 6960 series also does not scan both sides automatically and have to manually flip the documents to scan the 2nd side)

For copy, you'll need to rotate the printed output pages and put it back into the tray in addition to putting back the original document to the Automatic Document feeder to copy the 2nd side.

So for example if was to copy 3 pages. What order do it put it back into the paper tray and rotate which way?

Also on the feeder tray what order do i put the three pages in and the second page facing up I'm guessing?
