Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. How can I scan some documents from my Hp color Jet Pro MFP M277dw to my laptop without  internet connection.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

1. download only this HP Color LaserJet Pro M277 Printer series Full Software and PCL 6 Driver 

2. download HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 - User Guide 

 

Open the "User Guide" and read from page "Set up Scan to Network Folder" 55.
Without Internet, means without WLAN without network (via router) only USB!


I do not know how the printer was installed at the moment. I therefore recommend uninstalling all printer software from the computer beforehand.
The relevant information will follow later if a new installation, USB only, does not work.
If HP Smart is installed, HP Smart should also be uninstalled! Can be reinstalled later.
Good luck and let me know if it does not work as described in the manual.

Direct connect your laptop and printer with a network cable, set manual IP addresses for both devices and you can connect via network, then configure a scan to folder quickset on the printer.
