HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My previous HP OfficeJet 4630 printer had ability to scan multiple photos placed on the glass platen at once and create a separate file for each photo.

Am seeking a solution for the same function and action to be available on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All In One Printer.

Currently if multiple photos are placed on the OfficeJet Pro 9015e glass and scan is initiated with the "detect edges" option box checked, only one of the photos is selected and edges of the photo are highlighted with a red frame for editing or saving.

It would be ideal for the scan function to include detect edges feature for multiple photos (or documents), same as the OfficJet 4630 printer.

Please advise.

If you have not done so, download-save-install the Full Feature Software for the printer

HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software

About 2/3 of the way through the setup, you will be given the opportunity to select the software - select the "Full" driver set (as opposed to the basic driver).

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

Full driver provides print and scan functions (even if HP Smart continues to be stubborn).

Place photos on flatbed / glass

Open HP Scan

Set options, including Page Size = Detect Photos

Check / Adjust settings in More >

Click OK to save out of any sub-menu

When ready, Click Scan
