Hello,

is there any way to scan on network scanner that is already unsupported on windows 11?

I have network connected HP M521dn MFP, there is no drivers for windows 11, so I have installed printer using Universal Printer Drivers, and the printer is working, but no matter what scanning application I use the new one "Sanning App" from Microsoft store or built-in "Windows Scan and Fax" I have an error that there is no scanner connected.

I found something like this -  hp universal scan software do you thing this will help me resolve my problem:

Short Answer = "Sorry, No."

HP Universal Scan Software is both model and OS version dependent.

 

I did not find this model listed as supported by Universal Scan Software.

Sorry to jump in, but this device supports scan to network folder which requires NO apps or software. Refer to the scanning chapter in the user guide for information http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03392460.pdf.

 

You can also scan directly to a USB memory stick or use scan to email. I personally try to avoid apps as they tend to take more time that direct scan to folder.
