HP MFP M479fdn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought the MFP M479 to replace another HP that was frozenn.  I'm trying to setup the "scan to network folder" option to be able to scan from the control panel on the printer.  I can scan using the computer to select a folder but it would be handy to be able to do it from the printer itself and not have to bootup my scomputer.

I go to the IP address of the printer. Under the tab "scan to computer" there is this message:

"You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact the person who set up the printer"

Under the "scan to network folder"   there is no option that I can see where you can enter the network folder address.  This function was working on my old printer.  I've installed all the software from the HP website.  This is a windows 10 64 bit computer.

Hi,

Under Scan to Network folder > network Folder Setup, you should see an icon to create a new profile, then you will be provided with the options to set up a shared folder:
