Welcome to the HP Community @potatocurry🙂

I saw your post about the scanning error issue you're facing, and would like to help.

Please tell me which printer model you have and which operating system you're running on your computer. Also let me know how you have the printer connected to the computer and which steps you have tried so far.

In the meantime, try resetting the printer and restarting the computer and try the scan again from the front panel of the printer, and also from the software on the PC. Let me know what the exact error says.

Thanks!:)

Hit the "Accept as Solution" if we've reached a solution, and the "thumbs up" to say thanks for my help.
