macOS 12.0 Monterey

I am using HP Scanjet Pro 3000 S2 with my MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020). Scanner is recognised by the scanning software but fails to scan. I have tried deleting previous drivers/softwares and reinstalled the same after OSX update but nothing works.

I contacted a local expert for advice and have been told that the problem can only be resolved by Hp and/or Apple as HP Scanjet Pro 3000 S2 is designed to work with an intel processor and my MacBook Pro has a M1 processor. 
How do I resolve this issue?
