HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer - D110a
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello everyone, hope you are doing well, im here trying to search for a solution of an issue i start having at the beginning of the year, suspiciously when i installed Windows 11. I dont know why but when i connect my all in one printer i dont have any issues for print, otherwise with the scanner, for some reason it says is not connected, that i have a "paper jam" when my scanner system does not allow to that cuz is a flatbed one!!!. Ive been really angry cause i need to scan very important documments. Its not about the drivers because when i looked for the latest one, the hp web says i dont need driver because windows provide something for running them. Please i need some help, i just want to throw the printer from the 6th floor

Welcome to the HP User Community.

I am sorry you are angry.

True:  Your printer is not supported in Windows 11.  In fact, there are likely not any HP drivers (software) available for any Windows version - the printer is too old and the HP printer software is no longer available.

The Windows built-in drivers support basic print function but not scan.

If the printer is connected to your network,

You might be able to use Windows Scan

Windows ScanMicrosoft Store (formally Windows Store) - Requires Windows 8 or higher

Another "might work" option -

NAPS2 – “Not Another PDF Scanner” (Free – Donations gladly accepted by the NAPS2 organization)

  • Download-Save-Install >  NAPS2
  • Not another PDF Scanner – free program scans PDF files and image(s) as .jpeg or PDF file(s).
  • Not always simple “Plug and Play”, nonetheless, this free software is powerful and configurable.

Notes

Possibly

Paint (mspaint)

Older software – not brilliant – does work for scanning images.

  • Open  Paint
  • Optional >> Expand the “white background” area to a size to accommodate your data.  If unknown, try 1300x1300
  • File > Select “From Scanner or Camera
  • Select your printer > Follow the prompts to scan and then save your item

 What else?

If you can find no other options, this company specializes in Scan software for unsupported printers.

NOTE:  This reference is FYI and is not intended as an endorsement of the software.

VueScan – Third party software
