Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As we all have found out the max resolution for the ADF is 300.  This is very frustrating since a cheaper Brother machine can scan at higher resolution with it's ADF.  Does anyone have a hack/fix so the the resolution can be increased and still use the ADF?

 

Just trying to find a way around one of life's little frustrations.

Please try the 3rd party freeware NAPS scanning application, for my experience it may allow scanning using higher resolutions using the ADF:
