Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Are you trying to share the one of the files saved on your phone using HP Smart app in pdf format to your email?

HP Smart app is used printing and scanning, however you could perform scan to email and share the file.

I scanned the document on my hp printer/scanner using the hp smart app on my ipad.......the document shows up under my files in the smart app.......while it appears as a pdf there.......i cannot attach it as a pdf to an email....

I am using the hp smart app........it will copy the scanned document in the body of the email but not attach the document as a pdf......

I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app and Update the Adobe.

If the issue persists, Uninstall and reinstall the Adobe.
