Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I purchased a HP 7740 wide format printer a year ago, the scan to computer feature worked but now it does not. An HP technical rep tells me that HP is releasing a new driver this week but the scan to printer function will still not work. I am using OS Sonoma 14.2.1

 

The technical rep tells me "cannot be fixed because Mac is blocking the feature." I wish to return my printer if this functionality cannot be restore. It apparently works on operating systems other than Mac
