I can print from the Smart App but cannot scan.   It shows that my printer status is:

HP Envy Inspire 7900e and Ready To Print.    When I selectet Printer Scan, I get the error that says "This feature is not supported by the selected printer".    That is not supposed to be true.   You are supposed to be able to scan from the flat screen and just hit that button.    Anyone else have that issue and how did you fix it?

  • Verify Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your network. The scanning feature often relies on a stable network connection. Verify that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device or computer running the Smart App.
  • Restart Devices: Sometimes, issues can be resolved by simply restarting your printer, smartphone, or computer. Turn off the devices, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.
