I can't figure out how to Scan to Computer from my HP 9010? I've got Mac OS Sonoma.

  1. Install HP Smart App:

    • Make sure you have the HP Smart app installed on your Mac. You can download it from the Mac App Store.
  2. Connect Printer to HP Smart:

    • Open the HP Smart app.
    • Click on the "+" sign to add your printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the HP Smart app.
  3. Load Document on the Scanner:

    • Place the document or photo you want to scan on the scanner glass or in the document feeder.
  4. Start the Scan:

    • Open the HP Smart app on your Mac.
    • Click on the Scan tile.
    • Select the type of scan you want (e.g., Document or Photo).
    • Adjust the settings as needed (e.g., color, resolution).
    • Click on the "Scan" button.
  5. Choose Destination:

    • After scanning, you will be prompted to choose a destination for the scanned file. Select your computer.
