I have been trying all day to get my scanner to work but windows 10 just cant't see it. My printer was working but because i deleted it to start a fresh, now nothing works!
I have downloaded the latest software which seems to load ok. When I go through the first couple of screens I get to the one that says about making sure you click run, permit and all that. I tick the box, I click next and the program closes. It does this even if I run as administrator.
Can someone please please help me to get my printer and scanner working as I am desperate to use them. It seems to be a multifunctional printer that is on the windows 10 compatible list.
I have also unticked all of my windows defender and anti virus stuff but still to no avail.
I have also downloaded the print and scan doctor. I work through it and it just downloads the same software and drivers and when I run it, the same thing happens on the same screen 😞 it just exits!
Please help if you can
Regards

Fixing thge printer is fine and all works correctly. Even when disabling the windows firewall, the disk doctor software (when fixing the scanner) just exits when I get to a certain point. The point where you accept and put a tick in, the program exits when you press next, I think it is.
