I cannot send a fax. I keep getting error code 346. Keeps saying communication error. Send canceled after sending 1 or 2 pages at the most.
I have tried all the recommendations. Turned off sending after gettting the communication error code. Set the speed the lowest setting.
Not sure what else I can do.
Any suggestions?

I finally got it working today.
I went through all the settings again. Did and on line chat with my provider. Still couldn't get it going.
Rebooted the modem. Still same problem.
As a last resort I thought I'd try re-booting my router.
I did and the fax went through.
The only reason I didn't try to re-boot the router sooner was because I didn't think it had anything to do with it.
My Xfinity modem has a line out that feeds my phones. It does not connect to my router at all so I thought the router would have nothing to do with the problem but I guess it does.
Anyway thanks for the replay and just thought I'd post this in case someone else comes across the same problem.
Thanks

As you have discovered having read the documentation, the options are limited.
All Fax Destinations
In general, if the error persists across all faxes, the issue is perhaps in the phone line itself. Phone lines are typically warranted by the phone service to work for voice transmission. Voice transmission is possible on a "dirty" connection that may not be suitable for data transmission. Everything depends on the phone line being able to transmit the data out of the house and then on to the data's final destination whether that be across the street or across the nation.
Try moving the printer / fax to another location in your house where a hardwired phone line is available.
One Fax Destination
If the error persists on only this one fax destination, then the error may be due to data transmission issues somewhere between you and the final physical destination. Could be bad phone lines (one to thousands of miles), could be bad receiving fax equipment (some government agencies, for example, may not be using the latest, greatest equipment), could be squirrels or even a hive of wasps hanging in the wires.
