Advantage 4675
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

If I try to scan or copy a page, I get a wide black stripe on one side along the page.

No problems when printing.

I tried all the cleaning instructions....

Any ideas?

Does the problem occur when scanning or copying

a) with the ADF or

b) with the flat glass?

It's a cleaning problem, see here, > Step 2 > Figure 1 > clean both glass surfaces.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

No, it happens also after cleaning. I get the same issue in both cases, glass and ADF

Thanks,

try this solution here, only Step 3 Reset the printer and

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Same.....

I did the reset as directed.

I also moved the printer so it will be connected directly to the wall outlet...

I also tried to align the printer, but it doesn't recognize the printed page (which looks OK) probably due to this scanning issue...

I'm sorry, but the scanner light is damaged.

I was afraid of that..... any idea how much will cost to repair this?

Is this something I can do myself?
