I have a HP Laserjet M1522nf printer but I can't seem to scan with it.

HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion 6530HP Laserjet M1522nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot get this printer to scan. It feeds the paper thru the ADF and then sends me an error  message "no paper detected"

Hope you are well,  this is a recommended troubleshoot for this type of issues:


Please try to make a copy from the printer to make sure the scaner ADF rollers and components are working properly, if it fails even making a copy, most likely this is related to be a Hardware problem, so an Onsite inspection may be a good option for repair, you can get the list of authorized service providers from - authorized service providers (scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the option)


if its working fine when making a copy, the hardware is working ok, You may try to use an Scan app like HP scan and capture, HP smart to connect with the printer.
