I try to scan directly from my scanner and I get an error message that says "Try Scan From Computer or See Documentation."  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software for the Scanner.  I uploaded the Microsoft Drivers.  I ran an HP Doc test and it found no errors.  I went into the Command Window and tried 3 different things and nothing at all works.  HP wants to charge me money to fix my issue because it is out of warranty, which I found completely ridiculous.  Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?  The scanner works, but you have to go into the Control Panel of the computer, open scanner and press scan.

Hi,

You cannot scan from the printer front panel, as its scanning software is based on Adobe Flash Technology which was retires this year/

 

You may scan form your computer or from scan applications as HP Scan Extended, front panel scanning can no longer be used with such an older printer model:
