I have a new computer. How do I setup my HP 4650 to scan to it?

I have a new MacBook Air. My HP 4650 prints from it just fine, but I can't figure out how to scan from the 4650 to the new computer. It will only send scans to my old computer.

I understand you want to scan to computer from the printer, but are you able to scan from the computer? Is scan to computer enabled on your computer?

Try following the steps below-

Open the HP Utility Folder and go to Scan to Computer > Enable scan to computer. 

Try Scanning.

Thanks for the reply! I did a search for that folder on the new computer but found nothing. 

To answer the other question, when I select "Scan to Computer" on the 4650, it doesn't "find" my new computer. It can only recognize the old one.

However, my new computer does send documents to the 4650 for printing. So there is communication. But not for scanning. Does that make sense?
