Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I have a HP Photosmart 2610. Want to scan a document but get the message: Install the right version of Adobe Flash, and get a link to  Adobes webpage. It says they do not support Adobe Flash any more. My Photosmart will not scann without Adobe Flash and Adobe no not have it any more. How can I do? Leotule

@Leotule, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

That's correct. Adobe has stopped supporting the HP solution center and you will not be able to scan using this model printer due to its age.

 

There are no scanning apps available for this model printer. I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
