I understand that you are getting unable to initialize web scan error message, I will be delighted to assist you here.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- Did you do any changes to the printer?
Meanwhile, follow the below steps to fix this issue:
Touch the Web Services icon () to confirm that Web Services is activated on your printer.
If it is not enabled, follow these steps.
Web Services must be turned on to use the scan to email feature, enable automatic firmware updates, and use other HP cloud printing services.
On the printer control panel, touch the Web Services icon (
).
Touch Yes to accept the terms of use and to enable Web Services.
NOTE:
If Remove Web Services displays, then Web Services is already enabled.
Touch Yes to check for updates and to enable future automatic firmware updates.
Optional: Use the information page that prints to register with HP Connected and set up your printer with the ePrint service.
Try now scanning to email & let me know what happens
