I need instructions to remove an address from the Scan to Email. I do not have the pin for that email address. I have a HP Envy Photo 7855.

To remove an email address from the "Scan to Email" feature on your HP Envy Photo 7855 without the PIN, you can reset the email profile settings by following these steps.

 

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Ensure your HP printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  • Find the printer’s IP address. You can locate it on the printer's touchscreen by navigating to Network Settings > Wireless Settings > Wireless Status or Network Information.
  • Enter the IP address into the web browser's address bar on your computer and press Enter.

Log into the EWS:

  • Once the EWS page loads, click on the Scan tab at the top of the page.
  • Choose Scan to Email and then click on Email Profile.

Remove the Email Profile:

  • Select the email address/profile you want to delete.
  • If it prompts for a PIN, look for an option to reset or remove the email profile without needing the PIN, as some models allow profile deletion directly from the EWS page without requiring the PIN.

Save Changes and Exit:

  • After removing the email profile, save any changes and exit the EWS page.
  • Test the settings by trying to scan to email and verify the deleted address is no longer there.


This process should help you remove the unwanted email address from your printer’s “Scan to Email” list. If you encounter issues, a factory reset of the printer may be necessary to clear all saved profiles.
