We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I scanned something, saved it, then went to close out the scanner and it is stuck.  It won't let me close it.  I have tried turning off the computer and the printer, then rebooting, but that didn't work.   I have the HP Dr installed, and tried that.  It says the scanner is fine.  How do I get it to close so I can scan something else?  THANK YOU!

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to scan.

 

To assist better -

 

Is the scanner lid stuck or is the software stuck on the screen?

 

Meanwhile, try the below suggestions -

 

Reset the product

 

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
