Hi @Marsomac,
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer asks for a pin to scan.
To assist better -
- Are you trying to scan to email or scan to computer?
- Could you share an image of the screen requesting a password?
Keep me posted.

Hi
My company changed our email address and I had to re-enter it on my printer. Ever since then it is asking me for to enter the PIN. This is annoying as I have to do this every time I need to scan a document to my email address. The printer already has so many steps to go through to scan and this is just adding more time.
I have looked on the HP Smart app that is on my computer in the start menu but there is noting about the PIN.

To disable the PIN, you will have to access the EWS page of the printer and go to Scan > Scan to email option and disable the PIN.
Alternatively, you may create a new Scan to Email profile and not use a PIN while setup.
You may watch this video to know how to setup 'Scan to email' or refer to this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
