Can someone please explain where to put the paper being copied/scanned in this printer? I have only been looking for over an hour now for an answer. Seems it is too simple a question so no one has covered it.

It basically goes in the paper drawer.

User Guide is there to download and read.   Page 15 tells about paper trays.

 

BTW... your printer is just that, a printer.  No copy or scan.
