HI, Can someone help me. My printer has just stopped printing. The ink cartridges are compatible for this printer but will not print. I've managed successfully to print from the existing cartridge. I've pulled out cable for 60 secs. I've then taken both cartridges out and rebooted. I have taken individual cartridges out to see if either one would print on their own. Any ideas what to try next?

I understand the printer is not recognizing the ink cartridges. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.

 

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

Use HP ink cartridges.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

 

If the error persists even after replacing the ink cartridge, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
