The pop-up "SCAN TO COMPUTER NO LONGER ACTIVATED" KEEPS POPPING UP .   This funcction works fine, but the PC doesn't think so.  I have downloaded and reinstalled the driver and apps.   I have run print and scan Dr.  No problems have been found and as I said the printer works just fine.  This does not happen on my WIN XP PC.  Looks like another WIN 10 "gotcha".  Any help in turning this irritating pop up off would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

If you do not use the Scan to Computer feature often, then disable that.  The pop up will ceased.

Thanks.

Many thanks.  This I'll try.

Surely HP knew Windows 10 was coming for a long time.  Yet we still have this irritating pop up.  Why doesn't HP create a fix and send it to us in the next version?  Maybe HP doesn't know how to stop the pop up either?  In that case woe to the testing people who let this one through.
