Would like to use this as a network scanner from our RDS server over VPN.

 

Following these notes (https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05300654) I was able to enable Webscan but not find the menu options noted in Step two and cannot find a TWAIN driver option in step three.

 

The 8010 is not one of the exceptions listed - have you used this with Enterprise MFP, or is there a better way to allow scanning via the RDS session on a local 8010 unit?

The 8010 is not an enterprise product, it is a pro product and as such is not tested and certified to be supported by this Enterprise software. You might find a way to get it to work, but you are on your own as it is not supported.
