Is there any way to scan multiple pages at once on the HP 6001 ink tank printer ? Or does it only allow you to individually scan 1 page at a time ???

Thanks.

@Repairatrooperreminds us that should you be using a compatible Operating System, that combining your "added" pages into one file is certainly possible.

For example, use your favorite browser and search for "FastStone" products.

From the FastStone product website:

All products work on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, Windows 10 and Windows 11

HP Smart (Windows and Mobile) tend to "combine" scanned and "added page" content into one file (unless the scans are images).

The HP Full Solution / full driver printer software -- Windows - provides either solution:

  • Each page can be saved as a separate file (HP Scan > More > Destination > File Type)
  • All pages can be scanned and saved into a combined, single file (HP Scan > More > Destination > File Type)
  • Images can be combined or each group of scanned images on the flatbed can be saved separate files (HP Scan - Main menu - Page Size = Detect Photos).

As you can see, there is no ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) --

The ADF is needed to scan a stack of papers one after another.

No ADF = scan one page > "Add Page" in Application >> Flip or place new page on flatbed / glass > Scan next page > Repeat.

If forced to scan a single page files, a program like FastStone Capture allows you to take multiple files and merge them into one PDF. Very slick feature.
