Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

All in one 9025
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When using scan to email in smart tasks, the scan always defaults to 300 dpi and color. This results in huge files. Every time I scan I have to use the printer display to change the settings to 200 dpi and grayscale. Even with these settings the pdfs are a lot more megs then if I scan off of an Okidata All in one. Regardless, it would save me a bunch of time if we could set the default scanner settings within the smart task to grayscale and 200 dpi. For the life of me I can't see any way to do that and have not found an answer on the web. Looking for some help here. Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.  Sharing with you some resources to help you scan a PDF file in a small filesize.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system.

This resource shows you how to scan and save a small PDF file(size).

Hope that helps.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
