Ive puchased a new HP 2823e recently and Im not sure how to add pages to a document when scanning

HI, Ive recently purchased a new HP all in one 2823e.  I am not sure how to add pages when scanning a document.  Can anyone assist me.  When my old HP printer all I had to do was selected the add (or +) option and I could add pages, however I can see/find this option on my new HP All in One.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Regards Caroline

There appears to be at least one, and possibly a couple of options for using HP Scan --

From the outside looking in, I cannot discern which version type of HP Scan is included in the "full solution" software.

Regardless of whether the HP Scan is in the new format or the original, both have the ability to help you scan documents.

In addition, for this printer and your OS / version, (you can) optionally install the Universal Scan Software / Driver.

This version of "HP Scan" is a little different from the original HP Scan software and includes some nice features.

HP Smart - Windows - application provides an "Add Page" feature, too.

Remember - this printer lacks an Automatic Document Feeder -- documents must be placed on the flatbed, one sheet at a time, one side at a time.  Not ideal, but the place, scan, flip, scan, remove and repeat method generally works.

If asked, opt for the Full Driver to be installed.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in.

The installation of the full driver generally adds at least one, possibly two shortcuts to the Desktop.

 Note:  Printer Assistant, HP Scan Assistant, and HP Scan are dependent on printer model and supported software options.

If needful, select a different OS > Open all >

Find / Download / Save / Install HP Universal Scan – Full Feature Software and Driver Webpack
