Same as "The automatic document feed for my scanner on my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw scews pages" 0f 03/03/25 @ 1849.

This machine is newer, so no worn out rollers;

The paper path I can see is clear;

Used lint free cloth with Isopropyl Alcohol;

Paper guides are in order;

No bent or warped tray (again newer);

Not a multi-page issue, same with single sheet;

Firmware or software, again newer. I doubt this is where the cause would be created. Yet, I will still review these items.

In my experience, just the way it is with the low cost ADF units HP uses on this series. If you want a straight scan, put the original on the flat glass. Some software does support automatic deskew so that is something to look into.
