We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Scan quality is poor when using HP Smart app however it's perfectly clear when I scan using the scan doctor. Any ideas on how to make better within Smart app (I've already changed resolution etc within the app).

No available driver updates for this printer on HP website even through printer was purchased in 2018

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting scan quality issues while scanning from the HP Smart app,

Need not worry, I will assist you to fix the issue.

 

This seems to be an HP Smart app issue, Uninstall the HP Smart app and try to scan with the HP driver software.

Follow these steps to uninstall the Smart app and install the printer's full feature driver.

 

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer-related software.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on the Drivers tab.
  • Look for an HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers. 
  • Restart the PC again.
