Hello,

I have created several device user accounts (local machine accounts) for different people who will use the scan-to-e-mail feature on the M577z. Each person/user has a different e-mail provider (and different e-mail address) and I need to input different SMTP servers and 'From:' e-mail addresses for each device user account in the 'Scan/Digital Send - Email Setup' on the EWS (Embedded Web Server) system.

However, so far I was only able to setup SMTP servers and only one 'From:' e-mail address for all users, but not for each user individually. But this is not right because user X should not be able to scan and send from an e-mail address belonging to user Y.

How do I setup separate SMTP servers and 'From:' e-mail addresses in EWS for each user, individually?

Thank you!

Actually, I was able to solve the problem myself.

In 'Scan/Digital Send - Email Setup', under 'Address and Message Field Control' I changed the option for 'From:' from 'Default From:' to 'User's address (sign-in required)'.

Thank you, anyway.
