LaserJet Pro M148fdw
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

We received a new LaserJet Pro M148fdw a couple of weeks ago. When sending faxes, it gets the sending page 1, and then restarts. If I check the Fax Activity Log, it says Power Fail. We can receive faxes just fine. Ist just sending them that restarts the printer.

I have done the reset to factory defaults and upgraded the firmware to the version with the date code 20201023. It's extremely frustrating to need to send multiple faxes daily and not be able to with this new machine. Its plugged into the same location that our old machine was, if I put that machine back it works just fine.

Hi,

From the printer front panel, please change the Fax Resolution setting to Standard, ensue that Error Correction is On and the Fax Speed is set to Slow (V29).

You may find the exact steps to access all the settings above on page 190 of its Manual:

May you see any difference once making these changes?
