Hello dear HP Community, for some time now I have not been able to adjust the resolution when scanning or I can adjust it but the scanner ALWAYS scans in the same resolution. The scan is neither more high-resolution nor more pixelated. The scanning process, i.e. the noise the scanner makes when scanning, also remains the same. Normally the scanner speeds up or slows down depending on the resolution. I usually want to scan a PDF (1) and adjust the scan settings via “More” (2).

I would like to increase or decrease the resolution (4), e.g. to 75 or 300 ppi, via the “Image” tile (3). This is also possible and I can also save the setting permanently, but the resolution does not change as a result.

I have also heard that you have to change the source to flatbed (6) in the scan settings under “Scan” (5) to scan even higher, e.g. to 1200 ppi, but that didn't help either.

I urgently need your help. My warranty has already expired and I haven't found anything on the Internet.

Best regards
