Hi @GraceSufficient,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Follow these steps:
Entering Comma Character
- Accessing the Keyboard: Navigate to the input field on the LED screen where you want to enter the text.
- Special Characters: Look for an option or button on the screen that allows you to access special characters or punctuation marks. This is often represented by a symbol such as #%@.
Detailed Steps
- Navigate to Settings
- Tap on the settings menu on the LED screen.
- Enter Text Fields
- Choose any field where input is required, like entering the Wi-Fi password or email settings.
- Special Characters Option
- When the keyboard appears, locate a button or icon that switches to a secondary keyboard layout with special characters.
- This option might be labeled as "Symbols" or represented by a special icon like @#.
- Selecting Comma
- Once in the special characters menu, locate the comma , and select it for entry.
Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)
If you have trouble entering the comma character directly on the printer's screen, you can use the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) from your computer:
- Open EWS
- Connect your printer to the network.
- Open the browser on your computer and enter the IP address of your printer.
- Access Settings
- Navigate to settings where you need to input the text containing the comma.
- Input Text
- Use your computer keyboard to type the required text, including the comma.
I hope this helps.
