Hi
I have an HP 9015 all in one, I replaced my 9010 and this is essentially the SAME machine. I have NEVER gotten the fax to work, it tells me it's locked by the administrator. I really needed it today and couldn't figure it out, so I went exploring over here and decided to do a factory reset. That is also locked. Overall, this has been a nightmare, I haven't been able to get it to scan to particular network folders, or use most of the features that involved the computer, I finally managed to fax by printing out what I wanted and using the fax feature and feeding the documents into the feeder, but I need to be able to fax items from the computer itself. I also tried the native Windows fax version, but that was even buggier, the modem is located ON THE PRINTER and windows fax program cannot see that. Please help. Thank you (and yes I am tech support!!)

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.
