Up until yesterday my scan to email worked flawlessly. Now it will start the scan and read one page, sit there for about a minute, and them quit with the message "An error occurred while sending the e-mail. Please try again later". I have upgraded the firmware, and updated the app passwords with both O365 and **bleep**. I am using the legacy-smtp endpoint for O365. The test emails work fine from the web interface, but once I try to scan it fails. Unfortunately there is no log that I can find to examine to determine where the failure is occurring and the error message is entirely unhelpful. Anyone else suddenly getting this problem and/or have any idea how to correct it? (Scan to network folder works fine).

I have run into this issue with some enterprise level products, I do not know if you have the same setting abilities on a 477.
What you want to check is which TLS level the printer is trying to use. On some models there is a minimum and maximum value listed. Usually Min 1.2 Max 1.3. Change the max to 1.2 as well and that might fix your issue.

Thanks for your input. The M477 does not allow setting the TLS level, in fact there is no indication as to what level it is at all. However I do not think this is relevant as I am able to send a test email which would imply that the scanner is able to send an email. It is just not able to send a scan to the exact same address as the test.
